Matterhorn Challenge fundraising exceeds £100,000!

We are really delighted and not a little overwhelmed to report that the fundraising total on our JustGiving site has now topped £107,000 !

We'd like to say again a very big thank you to everyone who has donated whatever amount. This is fantastic for the Haven and will help them enormously in their efforts to establish a Breast Cancer centre in the Wessex region.

We would still like to go for a higher total so if anyone else would like support us then you can donate really easily via:

With three weeks before we depart for Zermatt the mountain is looking very un-welcoming today. You can just about make it out in the snap below taken at 11:30 this morning from the Zermatt webcam. The climbers weather report for the summit is for thunder storms, heavy snow and winds up to 45km/h. There won't be any summit attempts today or probably for a few days to come - a salutary reminder that we can't take blue skies and sunshine for granted on the Matterhorn and why we will have to be flexible when we get to Zermatt.
